Samsung has the famous A series and E series this year, that had some good designs and specs for the price, and each of them had the latest Android Lollipop OS running in them. While the Galaxy E5 and E7 were cheaper than the similar ones in A series, they were still decent phones, and the A3, A5 and A7 were premium devices.
Samsung is going to update its flagship phones, i.e. the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ with the new Android Marshmallow OS, and that will be based on the TouchWiz UI as usual, but whether the other phones from Samsung will get the update or not, is still an unanswered question.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor while the other two phones came with Snapdragon 410 processor. While both are great chipsets and support for the software updates is there, it depends on how much Samsung wants to work on the updates for these devices.

While we are expecting the Marshmallow update on these phones, we don’t think we might see any update on Galaxy E5 and E7. It is only confirmed that the Samsung flagships for 2014 and 2015 will be getting the Marshmallow update for now, and the update for other phones might come out later, only when company lets us know about it.
